As the name suggests, the coat’s sleeves are cut from a single piece of fabric-an uncommon, highly skilled construction that removes strain from shoulder to cuff for a natural, graceful drape. The voluminous A-line shape widens toward the hem and moves easily with every stride, true to director Pierre Fournier’s vision that “a coat should flow beautifully when you take a stride.” Made in Japan from custom, high-density cotton gabardine woven for water resistance and finished with a subtle luster.
